Delete your CookCircle account
You can permanently delete your account in the app or request deletion from this page. You do not need to reinstall CookCircle to submit a request.
In the app
Delete immediately
- Sign in and open your profile.
- Choose Edit profile, then Delete account.
- Transfer any shared kitchen that still has other members.
- Enter your password and type DELETE to confirm.

Email a deletion request
Email us from the address associated with your CookCircle account. Include your username, but never include your password.

What happens after a request
Data removed
CookCircle removes account access, profile data, recipes, comments, photos, likes, saves, and kitchen data associated with the account. Shared kitchens with other members must be transferred before deletion can finish.
Verification and timing
We aim to acknowledge requests within 2 business days. We may verify account ownership before acting and generally complete a verified request within 30 days. We will explain if law, safety, fraud-prevention, or another documented obligation requires limited records to be retained longer.
Safety reports, moderation evidence, policy acceptances, content-filter fingerprints, and immutable audit events may be retained when needed to protect users, prevent abuse, document enforcement, or comply with law. They are not used to restore a deleted account.
